Dr. Visit #10 (Fill #4)

With all the holiday shuffle I neglected to post my last doctor appointment recap. Sorry!

I have not lost anything since my last visit. I seem to be loosing and gaining the same three pounds over and over.

I have not been eating the best foods but I have certainly been improving my diet over the past several months. I really have not had any restriction with the previous three fills. I have been able to eat anything.

At the last visit I received another 1cc fill. I now have 8.5cc’s in my band and I finally have some restriction. It’s about damn time! So far I can still eat any type of food however it must be chewed well and moist.

French fries (I know, I know) and chicken seem to be the worst. French fries really do not go down well and dry chicken is just not worth the fight.

When I eat too fast or too much I feel like I am having a heart attack. The food simply sits at the band and sends pain out to your chest. The pain quickly dissipates as the food goes down. It is a clear way of telling you to either slow down, chew or stop.

I hope with this fill and my exercise program I will see some forward progress again. The holidays and all the crap that comes along with them have certainly not been helping my progress.

I am really going to focus on me in 2010. Time to get back on the train and ride it all the way into the station. I am ready for another fill (yes I want it) to further restrict my intake.

Time to start picking foods good for you. I know you can do it. Think of what a waste it is to eat calories that are not good for you. The better the food intake – the better you will feel.
Think of all the extra energy you are going to have.
