I Need Some Help

Well, I have finally made the decision to do something about my weight. Yes I’m overweight. I don’t think it is a big secret to anyone who knows me. Now, I don’t think I’m huge, however I know I need to do something drastic; and something soon.

I have seen and read a lot about weight-loss surgery. Over the past few years the majority of information has been about gastric bypass. For me, I never thought that surgery would be an option. I still do not think that bypass surgery is a great idea. I don’t think God’s design should be changed all around. Then gastric lap-banding started to have similar results to bypass. Best of all banding has fewer complications and is reversible. Maybe this is an option for me?

Skip back a year or so…

A family member recently had lap-band gastric surgery. Their progress has been amazing. I have been asking lots of questions and closely watching their progress.
