Today I took the first step to the rest of my life. I went to an appointment at the Virginia Weight Loss Surgery Center in Woodbridge, VA. I met with Dr. Denis Halmi.
From the moment I met Dr. Halmi I was completely comfortable with him. He has an amazing calmness and assuredness about him. He asked a few questions about my medical past and my history of weight-loss. We discussed the laparoscopic lap-band procedure.
Dr. Halmi informed me that I am a perfect candidate for the lap-band procedure. Awesome! Let’s get this ball rolling. Time to call the insurance company.
Insurance Requirements – six months supervised nutrition, exercise, dietary monitoring.
That’s it – Done…
