There is a TLC show called Miami-Ink. Miami-Ink is a tattoo parlor in Miami Florida. I am a big fan of the show and the artists especially Chris Garver. Usually the show highlights some great work done with stories from the individuals that are getting inked.

Yesterdays show “Kat: A Fish Out of Water” was going good until Kat Von D did a tattoo for Diana Duyser. Who is Diana Duyser you ask. She is the the lady who sold a grilled cheese sandwich with the likings of the Virgin Mary to an online casino for $28,000.

Kat, Kat, Kat, what the hell were you thinking? This is bar-none the worst tattoo I have ever seen. This lady is clearly a nut job seeking publicity, and the tattoo looked horrible. Why did you let them film this. Even more why did you let the local Miami news film it. Bad publicity for the shop in my opinion. But as they say, all publicity is good publicity.

I have seen a lot of bad tattoo’s out there. Generally a good tattoo artist knows, if it isn’t going to be flattering of their skills not to do it.

Back to Diana Duyser… Get a life! You made a grilled cheese that had an image on it. Yes, the sandwich did appear to have the image of a woman on it. Was it fake? Who knows. I do know that it didn’t look anything like the Virgin Mary.

Kat did manage to redeem herself a little when speaking to the Miami Herald after the shoot.

“Aren’t there sightings all the time? People are looking to fill some void. They’re reaching. Everybody’s reaching. I do love grilled cheese, though.” – Kat Von D

I think TLC was reaching on this one…

How much is a tattoo? That goes all over the back? I want one with Merlin and a fire spewing dragon on top of a mountain, with a night sky as a background.

what’s she gonna do with that tatoo, when she’s old and wrinkly? what’s her grandkids gonna think? people shouldn’t get tatoos!!!!!

you know, who the hell cares what she is going to do with her tattoo when she is more wrinkly than she is now. it will still be there where kat applied it. i, personally, have nine tattoos and i love each and every one of them. maybe in twenty years i will look at one of them and be like “what the hell was i thinkin” but that is the fun in life. i don’t know what i will think of my ink down the road. all i know is that i live in the moment and if i feel like using my body as a canvas for art then so be it. that kelsea girl should know better than to judge people. didn’t your mother teach you to respect others??

There is absolutely nothing wrong with tattoos. Some people make bad decisions about what and where they get them however.
